Registration for School Year 2023-2024

VVM school started on August 20th for school year 2023-2024.

Online registration is still open.

Following classes are being offered for this school year. Lunch or healthy snacks will be served after classes each week.

* For Debate and Speech class, parents will pay additional fees (directly to the teacher at $25/Hour) for any extra practice sessions with the teacher outside of regular class times.

For every class, the minimum number of registered students must be five.

We will have an assembly meeting from 10:55 AM to 11:15 AM.

The class structure is enhanced based on the feedback received from parents during the survey. We will include talks and discussion about virtues, values and traits to enrich the life, will tell the illustrative stories or give examples and teach relevant Subhashit Shlokas. We envision to include a short discussion (if not in every class, from time to time) on life enriching good habits, and ways to cultivate good habit patterns. We will also include some ideas and thoughts that strengthen and reinforce our faith in God, and help our inward focus and draw us closer to the indwelling God within.

Whenever appropriate at least a 10-minutes discussion on current major festival will be included.  Major festivals for Pushti-Marg are:   Krushna Janma-ashtami, Rama-navmi, Hanuman Jayanti,  Narsinh Jayanti, Navratri, Deepawali festivals, Vallabhacharya Jayanti (Pragatya Utsav), Vaman Jayanti, and Gosaiji Pragatya din.  Present the significance of the festival, any associated legend, how it is celebrated, etc.

There will be two parents-teachers conferences during the year. One conference to be scheduled some time between fourth and seventh week of starting of each semester. The purpose is to facilitate interaction with teachers, understand the methods o
f delivery and set the expectations on parts of teachers as well as parents and students.

We aspire to initiate/launch a few other programs later in the school year. Such programs may include:

  1. Demonstration to teach how to perform Seva at home.

  2. Yoga class for children on Saturday (outside of VVM school hours), once a month.

  3. Children’s class to teach them Bhajans, Kirtans, Stotras and Prayer Shlokas.

  4. Seminars by invited professional therapists and experts to talk about how to cope with stresses in family situations, and how to enrich living style or life with values to develop close bond within family and support system among family members leading to safe and secure, harmonious and joyful living.

  5. We would love to invite other communities to celebrate their events at VVM with VVM families, so that we all can learn about different regional cultural traditions from each other, and learn to celebrate together in one setting with all communities included.
