Vallabh vidya mandir 

Riddhiben was born and brought up in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. She received her bachelor's degree in commerce and higher education in cost management accounting from India. She worked as an auditor in India before moving to the US in 2010. She lives in Houston, TX with her husband, Dr. Vrajesh Mehta and their two kids. She has been a part of the VVM family ever since she moved to Houston in 2019.

Riddhiben grew up in an environment where she followed all Indian traditions and celebrated Indian festivals with the family. Thus, she had religious/spiritual training throughout her childhood. She missed that environment when she moved to the US until she moved to Houston and became a part of the VVM and VPSS family. Her kids (Aarna and Jaimil) started attending VVM classes and Riddhiben is happy to see their interest in Indian culture continuing to grow. Aarna and Jaimil have been enjoying all Indian festival celebrations while also gaining knowledge about Lord Krishna, the Bhagavad Geeta, Ramayana, etc. and the basic tenets of Hinduism. The VVM family serves as an extended family for her children.

While visiting VVM as a parent and observing the selfless efforts of volunteers towards the community, her willingness to pass on her knowledge and to build our value system for the kids grew stronger. As a result, she joined VVM as a Pre-K (Bal Krishna) class teacher, while still continuing her professional career as an Auditor.

​

Her goal/aspiration in this role as a teacher is to provide children with basic knowledge of Hindu culture through games, arts, and other nurturing techniques. She looks forward to meeting with and helping our families collaborate with VVM to harness our children's potential.
