Kavya Mody was born and brought up in Delhi, India and was raised in a Hindu-Punjabi family with spiritual and cultural values. She came to the US in 2018 and settled in Houston, TX. She pursued a master's degree here in Human Resources.

 

She is married to a Gujarati and got connected to VPSS since then. She enjoys Garba Raas and Dhol Beats. She has the zeal to celebrate different Utsav’s with high spirit, to name a few: Holi Rasiya, Hindola, Janmashtami with her family and friends.

She has volunteered in VVM from this year’s new session (2026) and is teaching Hindi to the young kids. Her passion and hobbies include exploring different places and cuisines, trying different recipes.
