Vallabh vidya mandir 

Jigarbhai was born in Vadodara, Gujarat and brought up in Mumbai, India. He has been living in Houston for more than 20 years. He studied at Texas A&M University earning an industrial engineering degree followed by MBA at University of Houston. He is currently working in the energy industry. 

 

He has been associated with VVM in different forms and capacities since 2013. He has 2 kids aged 10 and 7 studying at VVM as well.

 

Jigarbhai has been teaching at VVM for the last 8 years. He teaches Religion 2 class targeted to children of ages 8 to 10. He enjoys teaching this age group mainly due to the questions he gets after explaining the concept, and the resulting interaction with the children. He has been teaching this class since 2015. He also teaches Gujarati Writing (Level 2) to students who have gained reasonable understanding of Gujarati vocabulary (speak Gujarati at home). He has been teaching this class since 2018.

 

In his spare time, he likes to travel and play various sports including tennis, volleyball, and cricket.

 

Teaching and interacting with children are Jigarbhai’s passions. He finds it fulfilling to give back to the community by nurturing kids with spiritual and cultural education at VVM.
